Videre is built to need fewer people per dollar managed than any comparable firm, because machines produce and people decide.
We employ and partner with only top performers: super-producers who are already leaders in their corner of the real estate industry, and who pair that mastery with fluency in frontier AI. Given our structure allows us to be lean, we can set an unusually high bar for talent. Our people are fluent in frontier AI tools, which makes them many times more productive than a conventional hire. Every one of them clears a rigorous process designed to confirm one thing: that they are the best in their domain, enhanced by AI.
Our culture is a performance culture, full stop. We measure people by results and outcomes, and we are organized around a single objective: optimizing returns for our capital partners. That focus is not incidental. It is the natural consequence of our alignment. We earn nothing unless the venture performs, so everything we reward, and everyone we hire, points at that one goal.

Marc founded Videre Capital after a career spanning:
- Technology investment banking at J.P. Morgan in San Francisco;
- Real estate private equity at Tricon Residential, a Blackstone portfolio company;
- Institutional capital allocation at HOOPP, one of Canada’s largest pension plans;
- Senior leadership at MOD Developments;
- Senior leadership at a large private family office; and
- Most recently as Chief Investment Officer of a private REIT.
Marc has spent his career investing in commercial real estate, and built Videre around a conviction that the industry’s cost structures, and the fees they produce, are artifacts of an outdated business model.
Marc is a proud citizen of the Métis Nation of Ontario.
